 This book is really a entertainer. It simply puts smile on one's face. The author Twinkle Khanna has beautifully narrated the humors enclosed in her daily life. We are so engrossed in our busy life, that we tend to neglect small humors happening in our daily routine. The protagonist is the author herself and she has tried to portray her life as an ordinary Indian Wife, daughter in law and mother. The book reminds us that even the ordinary day to day incidents in our life can be enjoyed if you just have the right attitude towards life.

It deals with the most common issue of our country that is the birth of a girl child. When Lakshmi's sister comes back home from her marital home, Lakshmi realizes the pain that the parents of girl child has to go through. She sets to solve all their problems and does so successfully. While the story is predictable it does leave you with a smile in end. The second story is 'Salaam Noni Appa'. In this story she clearly explains how insensetively our society behaves towards a person who is suffering from a Vitiligo,educated or not.
